Alemany Flea Market in San Francisco

Today is my birthday and I spent it doing something I really like - I went to San Francisco's only flea Market - Alemany Flea Market.  I hadn't been there for years, but it was as fun as always.  And our weather was so beautiful (in the mid 70's)!  I took along my friend, Kathy, who helped hold some very heavy coats and also enjoyed looking at the odds and ends.  This flea market is very eclectic.  It has tools, plants, antiques, art, post cards, records, clothes, shoes, purses and everything else under the sun. We spent several hours there just wandering around photographing clothes and examining everything.

Although we talked to a lot of vendors, very few of them had cards.  They just sell there, so if you're interested in anything you see, you will probably have to take a trip there yourself, but trust me, you will enjoy it.   The flea market is open every Sunday. I want to mention one vendor I talked to, Patricia, who has Vintage Girly Boutique.  She is on Facebook.  Finally, on Saturday I was at my local Ashby Flea Market in Berkeley and took some photos of beautiful purses that I'm including here.  Enjoy!
