Toni's Vintage Trips: Toni's Spring Visit to All Things Vintage (Oakland, CA)

I always have a great deal of fun when I visit All Things Vintage in Oakland. First of all, it is a challenge to find, but once I'm there, it is a shopper's dream experience. Its owners, Claudia and Lucy, are not only fun to be around, but are also very knowledgable about vintage clothing and fashion. They are planning a trip this summer across the country going to local thrift stores, auctions, estate sales and flea markets. They will be posting a blog about their trip. I am really looking forward to reading it, as it's something I would like to do too.

If you haven't yet visited their store, you must do it. They are open every other weekend and will be closed the month of July due to their trip. Check their website at allthingsvintageoakland.com Their store is full of beautiful clothes, jewelry, shoes, purses as well as interesting miscellaneous stuff. When I visit All Things Vintage, I usually stay for at least 2 hours and always find something to buy. Yesterday was no exception and I left with a vintage necklace, coin purse and a handcrafted crocheted hat made by Claudia.

I will definitely be returning to All Things Vintage in August after they get back from their trip. Can't wait to see what they bring back. Cheers! Toni
