Toni's June Visit to Treasure Island Flea Market (SF, CA)

Treasure Island Flea Market is truly a new Bay Area treasure.  It is on a beautiful island just off the Bay Bridge going towards San Francisco.  Since it used to be owned by the U.S. military, it has been largely untouched by development.  Driving in from the Bay Bridge offers a spectacular view of the city and the Bay.  Parking at the flea market has stretched out almost to the water, but their are people to guide you there.  You can also get to the flea market using public transportation from the East Bay and the city.  Treasure Island Flea Market happens the last weekend of every month.  Shopping there is fun and there are other activities going on to entertain kids.  If you get hungry, there are many food trucks that offer a wide variety of food and drinks.  And cocktails are also available.

You may ask what I bought at the flea market this time.  Do you recall my visit there a few years ago when it was held inside due to rain?  I bought a memory foam pillow from Don Slats of Slats blinds.  Well, this pillow has been so amazing and it actually puts you to sleep it so comfortable.  This visit, I found a partner for my pillow.  Pleasant dreams! Toni
